Welcome to a restorative weekend designed to nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

We invite you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and embrace the beauty of intentional rest and self-care in the mountains of Fernie, BC. This retreat has been thoughtfully created to offer a balance of movement, healing, reflection, connection, and relaxation.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll experience:
• Daily yoga practices
• Guided breathwork and manifestation workshop
• Chakra healing dance session

Meet the Hosts:

As a psychologist and former social worker, I have dedicated my life to supporting others in their healing, growth, and overall well-being. I deeply value the importance of connection, balance, and creating meaningful experiences in life.

Movement and nature have always been essential parts of who I am. I have a passion for hiking, biking, running, yoga, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and staying active in ways that nourish both body and mind. I am also deeply connected to spiritual and energy-based practices including meditation, Reiki, breathwork, and journalling.

Self-care is something I truly believe in and actively encourage in both my personal and professional life. I believe we cannot fully give to others if we are not first caring for ourselves. My intention is to create spaces where women feel supported, grounded, empowered, and inspired to reconnect with themselves in meaningful and lasting ways.​

I am an Intuitive Angel Empowerment Reader and Healer with more than 20 years of experience, as well as a trained Medical Intuitive and Medium. My intuitive gifts were first recognized at the age of three, and over the years I have cultivated and refined these abilities through extensive training in Reiki, Pranic Healing, Craniosacral Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Numerology.

I am passionate about empowering others on their healing journeys and have dedicated much of my career to teaching and mentoring. As an instructor and life coach, I have shared my knowledge of Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, and Life Skills with individuals seeking greater balance, self-awareness, and personal growth.

By integrating these diverse modalities, I offer a holistic approach to healing that supports the mind, body, and spirit. I am also certified in Chakra Healing Dance, bringing movement and energy work together to create transformative healing experiences.

My intention is to help others reconnect with their inner wisdom, embrace their authentic selves, and cultivate lasting well-being.

     As a Certified Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher, I am passionate about helping others cultivate balance, vitality, and well-being. My path has always been rooted in education, movement, and personal growth. Prior to becoming a yoga therapist, I worked as both an elementary and junior high school teacher, inspiring young minds and fostering lifelong learning. I also spent many years as a fitness instructor, guiding individuals toward healthier, more active lifestyles.

Today, I integrate this diverse experience into my work, using yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness practices to support healing, resilience, and a deeper connection to self. My approach embraces whole-person wellness, nurturing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy biking, walking, yoga, traveling, cooking, singing, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. I believe wellness is more than a practice—it is a way of living. By cultivating presence, connection, and joy in everyday life, we create the foundation for greater fulfillment, vitality, and inner peace.

My intention is to create a welcoming and supportive space where others can reconnect with themselves, embrace personal transformation, and leave feeling renewed, empowered, and inspired.

Experiences at Ignite Your Light Retreat



​Chakra Healing Dance: Awaken Your Energy through Chakra Dance, a moving meditation experience to help you reconnect with your body, release stagnant energy and restore your inner balance. Our Chakras hold emotion and outside energies that can block our progress Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually. Through guided music, free flow movement and visualization we will journey through all seven Chakras, unlocking creativity and grounding your energy. You will feel rejuvenated and clear after this one-hour class.

Reiki: A gentle, energy-based healing practice that promotes relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. During a Reiki session, practitioners use light touch or place their hands just above the body to support the natural flow of energy. Many people experience a deep sense of calm, reduced stress, and an enhanced connection to themselves. Reiki can be a powerful complement to other wellness practices, helping to nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

Breathwork meditation: A practice that uses intentional breathing patterns to influence your mental, emotional, and physical state. It combines focused attention (meditation) with controlled breathing techniques. Breathing directly affects the autonomic nervous system (rest and digest response), and because breathing is both automatic and controllable, it acts like a bridge between the body and mind. Potential benefits include: reduction of stress and anxiety, improved focus and mental clarity, better sleep, better emotion regulation, lower blood pressure, increase body awareness, and improve mood. 

Yoga: A holistic practice that supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through mindful movement, stretching, breathwork, and relaxation, yoga helps reduce stress, improve flexibility and strength, enhance body awareness, and promote a greater sense of balance and inner calm. As a self-care practice, yoga encourages participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate resilience, making it a valuable tool for overall wellness and personal growth.

Manifestation: The practice of intentionally focusing your thoughts, beliefs, and actions on the life you wish to create. Through techniques such as visualization, journaling, goal-setting, and mindfulness, manifestation helps cultivate clarity, confidence, and a positive mindset. This empowering practice encourages participants to align with their values, embrace new possibilities, and take inspired steps toward their personal goals and aspirations.
